The member of company police team held spray-type extinguisher, demonstrating to the workers while explaining. Many worker saw the operation was so simple that all wanted to have a try. Later, a female worker became the bravest one, without saying and held extinguisher to spray the flame, which was put out successfully. The male ones were not to be outdone and several representatives also demonstrated successfully. The captain told the reporter, “Now our company has many new employees, having weak awareness of fire safety. Most employees are not very clear of basic fire fighting knowledge like the usage of the extinguisher. Besides, the products of our company mostly are easy-burning ones like paper products. So strengthening fire safety work is very important. We’ll give them the training on this aspect at fixed period in the future.” It was said that June is Gongbo’s safe production month. The company would hold safe production knowledge training on various aspects.
